Morpher Perform FXs Refill Released

posted in: News | 0

We are happy to announce the release of our very first Refill for Reason!

Morpher Perform FXs is a collection of combinator patches built around the Morpher Rack Extension and Reason 13 stock devices. Designed to be playable instruments rather than “set and forget” effects, they can be performed live or automated for transitions like breakdowns, pre-choruses, and drops. You can also punch in bursts of variation anywhere, from the full mix to single parts like vocals, drums, or synths.

The Refill features a wide range of effects, putting together reverbs, delays, modulation, and distortion into creative combinations. At the heart of the interface is Morpher’s X-Y pad, which enables real-time control by moving the cursor across eight snapshot slots. Each snapshot captures a unique configuration of parameters, designed to produce everything from subtle shifts in tone to dramatic transformations.

Together with the release of the refill, we have updated the Morpher Rack Extension to version 1.2.0, adding new capabilities, like CV out when the mouse clicks inside the snapshot cursor and simplified morphing automation. Also, the factory sound bank has been updated to include 6 exclusive Perform FX demo patches (not included in the refill).

These Perform FXs work equally well in the Reason DAW or in the Reason Rack VST inside another DAW. For more information about the refill, please visit the product page.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT UPDATING TO MORPHER 1.2.0:

If you are updating to version 1.2.0 and you have older songs with automation of the Morpher macros, please note that these have been replaced by direct automation of the cursor X and Y positions. This change greatly simplifies the process of automating snapshot morphing. However, the older automation clips won’t work any longer. Therefore it is recommended that you render any audio which is being affected by Morpher automation before updating to the 1.2.0 version.
